Our Covid-19 Response Plan
Sportsometry is committed to serving our community and ensuring that every child is safe, engaged, and learning every day. To reduce the spread of COVID-19, Sportsometry has put measures in place. Sportsometry is taking steps to inform our staff and children on minimizing the risk of contracting and transmitting the COVID-19 virus. Sportsometry will emphasize washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before eating, after blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing, or before/after going to the bathroom. If soap and water are not readily available, then we will use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. However, notwithstanding any such efforts, it is not possible to guarantee that COVID-19 is not present nor to prevent you or your child from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19. By attending or participating in Sportsometry activities in-person (“Activity”), there is a possibility that you and your child may be exposed to the risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, staff and children should:
-
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
-
Be healthy and clean
-
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
-
Clean your hands often, either with soap and water for 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol
-
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands after
-
