Chawwadee Rompothong

Chawwadee earned a B.A. in economics from Yale in 2000 and will complete her MBA in July 2020 from Southern New Hampshire University. She is currently pursuing a certificate in College Counseling at UCLA and is the Founder and CEO of Varsity Lab, an education consulting company. Chawwadee began at JP Morgan Chase in April 2020 in its Wealth Management Advisor Program. Prior to Varsity Lab and JP Morgan Chase, Chawwadee was the Head Women’s Golf Coach at Yale from 2005-2019. Her experience in assessing the statistics of her teams’ progress shows her understanding of the connection of using athletics to supplement students’ understanding of math and science concepts. As a board member, Chawwadee provides insight into
fundraising based on her responsibilities as a coach and as an educational consultant. She also provides ideas working with Sportsometry to appeal to administrators at various schools and after school programs and camps. Chawwadee adds the perspective of working with young athletes, as she also runs golf camps around the world.
